You will try the wold renown local street food: the rustic leccese, a puff pastry filled with béchamel, tomato, and mozzarella.

Masseria Le Fontanelle -> Otranto

• Transfer to Otranto, and guided tour of the historic center.
  Otranto is a mix of cultures framed by wild and extraordinary nature. We will begin by walking through the characteristic ancient village enclosed by Aragonese walls with its white houses, winding streets, seafront, Castle, and Romanesque Cathedral adorned with a magnificent mosaic floor depicting the tree of life.
• Lunch at a restaurant.
• After lunch, the journey will be enriched by a mini-trekking to admire the “Bauxite Lake,” a natural pool formed in a former quarry. We will make a photo stop at the imposing lighthouse at “Punta Palascia,” known for being the easternmost point of Italy and the first to be touched by the rising sun.

Masseria Le Fontanelle -> Monopoli -> Alberobello

• Departure for Monopoli, known as the city of a hundred districts that evoke the names of long-gone farms.
  Guided tour of the city, which retains the high medieval layout of its fortified historic center. Each district is characterized by fortified farmhouses, neoclassical villas, churches, and trulli.
• Typical lunch.
• After lunch, transfer to Alberobello, the capital of Trulli and symbol of all of Apulia, with visits to major attractions: Rione Monti (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Church Trullo, and Siamese Trullo.
